Grand Central Station
A well-dressed man rounds the corner. He exudes a heavy energy that dominates the space. He is balanced by two small figures who walk in the opposite direction, while a policeman stands guard.
In this painting, I utilized my usual red-iron underpainting. It immediately warmed the cool greens of the indoor lighting. I worked fiber paste into the ground while keeping the figures smooth. I aimed to create a tactile interest in the surface and introduced more extreme reflections in the floor.
