For Home, I followed the template specifications created by Canadian artist, Pam Hall. The directive to maintain the two-dimensional shape for international mail delivery forced me to thoughtfully consider interior and exterior spaces. I aimed to show the dichotomy of internal and external life: an expansive rolling meadow landscape unfolds inside the weathered and worn outer walls of the home.

This piece was created to be part of artist Pam Hall’s community project, Building a Village, which will be included in an exhibition called HOUSEWORK(s) at The Rooms Provincial Art Gallery in St. John’s in Newfoundland, Canada in April, 2014
